GARMIN
A performance-driven brand film about connection and the joy of the ride
Overview
For me, this film was about more than cycling — it was about capturing the paradox that defines the sport: suffering and joy, solitude and togetherness, grit and grace. Shooting in the jagged landscapes of Montserrat, just outside Barcelona, I wanted the camera to feel alive, breathing with the riders — gliding wide across the mountain one moment, pressing into a rain-soaked grimace at 800fps the next. Garmin devices weren’t treated as product shots but as quiet guides, woven into the fabric of the ride. The vision was to create a visceral, lyrical portrait of endurance and connection — a film that rides as hard as the athletes themselves.
